Workshop Schedule

We will work from 9:30am - 3:30pm daily, with breaks for snacks and lunch. During the workday, we'll practice building with strawbale, cob, and cobwood, as well as construct earth roofs and earthen floors. There will also be an introduction to earthships, with potential hands on practice for those with an interest.

In the morning there will be yoga in front of an amazing view of the sunrise and Lake Pátzcuaro. We also have several miles of trails, most suitable for jogging.

During the evenings we will have discussions, movies, and other activities available! The Bosque Village is a wonderful setting to indulge in fun hobbies such as photography, birdwatching, and hiking. Please see our activities page for more information.

Day of the Dead:

We scheduled our workshop so that our participants can stay in Michoacán for Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Arrange your own plan for this festive holiday! The Lake Pátzcuaro region is home to numerous small villages that tourists can visit to participate in Día de los Muertos! Either arrange housing in or around Pátzcuaro, or plan to stay extra nights at the Bosque Village. We can help schedule a taxi and recommend accommodations if you want to explore during these days.

Please let us know well in advance if you want our help, as hotels are filling up quickly due to high demand during this time period!
