Cost and Lodging

Please note that participants in this workshop will arrive October 17 and check out on October 31.

The cost for the workshop is $950 USD. This includes:

• The Natural Building workshop: instruction and hands on learning
• Access to several popular natural building books and videos during the workshop
• Activities for "down time" - including crafts, birdwatching, volleyball and badminton, hiking, and relaxing on the terraza or in hammocks in the forest. See our activities page.
• Meals - all vegetarian while at the Bosque, though guests can bring meat to cook. We will also have time in town with meat options.
• An optional dinner with a local family in a rural village nearby
• Hikes around the highlands
• A party featuring a local Mexican band
• A guided tour around the Lake Pátzcuaro area, as well as help with other tours you may want to take during your stay.
• A photo CD including pictures taken by both participants and professional pictures of you building during the workshop.
• A bed in a rustic Bosque cabaña.

Our cabañas are wooden and not well insulated, so we suggest you bring a warm sleeping bag! We can provide you with a pillow, or bring your own if you prefer.

We have a small guest house that we open to all guests for showering and hanging out. There is a fireplace, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, and a shower that is heated with a solar hot water heater. There are couches for lounging on and relaxing, and we equip the house with snacks (fruits and veggies) for early nibbling or late-night munchies!

While our accomodations are rustic, they are also very comfortable. We'll work hard to ensure you are happy during your stay.
