Dates for this Spring will be chosen soon.

Come to the Bosque Village, located in the beautiful Mexican highlands, for a two week long natural building workshop. We'll learn strawbale, cob, cobwood, earthen floors and earth roofs by working hands on with qualified builders on various huts and buildings throughout the Bosque property. Our workshop will give you first hand experience so that you feel prepared and inspired to begin your own natural building project.

Building at the Bosque Village will give you life-long friendships, skills, and memories. You will build with people from all around North America who share the interest of sustainable living and natural building.

In addition to daily practice, our workshop includes:

  • movies, books, discussions and lectures about natural building and permaculture
  • an opportunity to experience life "off the grid", as the Bosque Village gets all water from rain catchment and power from solar panels.
  • guidance for self-guided field trips to local artisan towns, or the option to schedule a tour with a Lake Pátzcuaro tour guide
  • field trips to local ranchos who also use natural building techniques
  • a cross-cultural experience - our workshop has attendees from both Mexico and the United States
  • a variety of activities to ensure your experience is both enriching and fun!
